Oregon Historic Highway 30 - Art

A photographic journey along the old Highway 30. Built in the 1920's this was an epic accomplishment for the time. The remaining highway (it is closed to traffic in some areas due to it not being safe enough to travel) is a tourist must see, following the Columbia River from Troutdale to The Dalles...two lanes, curvy and scenic trip back to yesterday. The Mosier Tunnel portion is closed to vehicle traffic but can be walked or bicycled from either the Mosier side of the tunnel (there is a parking lot -- Day Use by the State) or from the Hood River side of the tunnel and is a walk or ride definitely worth the while....and is wheelchair accessible as well.
